About Me
Hi, I'm Sally! I am a third-year PhD student in Psychological & Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. I work with Dr. Lisa Feigenson in the Lab for Child Development. I also collaborate with Dr. Jennifer Hu.
I am broadly interested in explanation and cognitive development. Currently, I am studying how infants and children seek, evaluate, and generate explanations for surprising events.
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2023, where I studied Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with a Philosophy focus.
Beyond research, I love to spend my time cooking & baking, vintage shopping, and solving word puzzles – often while listening to a podcast. Click the hyperlinks to see my current favorites!
